The Keris Taming Sari is a very famous keris in Malay culture. It is equivalent to King Arthur's "Excalibur" and was allegedly owned by the legendary MAlay warrior Hang Tuah. The keris is said to possess magical powers. The keris is a prize from the Javanese kingdom of Majapahit (precursor of Indonesia) to Hang Tuah after winning a fight in the Kingdom with Taming Sari, and thus deriving the name from the original owner.

It was special in that it was made of twenty one types of iron - supposedly metal left over from the forging of the bolts of the Ka'aba. It was said that Taming Sari could do Hang Tuah's fighting for him - if Hang Tuah were menaced or in any way endangered, the keris would leap out of its sheath all by itself, fly through the air and attack the assailant, moving in the air whichever way the assailant dodged or turned, until it hit its mark. The whole of the sampir and batang are covered in gold leaf, making it a keris gabus or keris terapang.

The keris is still exist today and is part of the regalia of Sultan Azlan Syah, the Sultan of Perak.
Before the alleged Taming Sari became part of the Perak Royalty's regalia, the famed keris is believed to have been a hereditary article of the family of the Laksamana (Navy Admiral) who for generations, through succession, ruled as the territorial chief of Hilir Perak.

The love of Clark's life is Lana Lang, whose parents were killed in the meteor crash. Currently on Smallville, Clark and Lana finally became a couple, but due to the fact that Clark refused to tell Lana the truth about his powers, he and Lana broke things off and it looks like Lex and Lana will be the next big couple.

Other featured characters include Chloe Sullivan -- a noisy reporter and best friend to Clark. She is currently the only friend who is aware of Clark's powers. Lois Lane (Chloe's cousin) recently entered the canvas as the future love of Clark's life.

As Clark gets through his teenage years, he constantly faces challenges which not only strengthens his powers, but also makes him realize he must make sacrifices in order to the serve the greater good.

Michael, T-Bag, Bellick and Mahone are prisoners at Sona, where the guards no longer control what goes on inside the prison. Inside, Sona is run by a dangerous man named Lechero and it's every man for himself. Kill or be killed. When LJ and Sara are held hostage by The Company, Lincoln (who is on the outside) must help Michael break a man named Whistler out.

As breakout plans hit major snags, a woman named Gretchen from The Company makes it clear she calls all the shots and eventually proves it by beheading Sara.

Determined to get out of Sona and take revenge on those responsible for Sara's death, Michael manages to escape with Whistler (along Mahone). When Michael Scofield's (Wentworth Miller) brother, Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) is convicted of murdering the Vice-President's brother and sentenced to death for a murder he didn't commit, he devises an elaborate plan to free his brother -- by taking away his own freedom.

The Plan: Michael spends months preparing a plan to free his brother from execution by breaking him out of prison. Michael is a structural engineer (with an Ivy League education) and happens to have access to the blueprints of the prison, so he has the map tattooed on his entire body (it is disguised as drawings). Next step, getting himself incarcerated at the same prison, which he achieves by committing armed robbery.

Once inside Fox River, Michael manages to not only get in touch with Lincoln, but gets himself involved in a prison work program, which allows him access to the areas he needs to complete his escape plan.

In usual television fashion, all does not go according to plan and before he knows it, other convicts are involved in the escape plan. While this may have been a hindrance at first, Michael soon realizes that each convict offers some sort of tool to assist in the escape plan.

In the season one finale, the group escapes and head toward safety.
